About The Team

Phuza Strips was founded by four like-minded women with strong values. These women are not only passionate about safety. They are parents endeavoring to leave their place on the planet a little bit safer than the way they found it.

We want to offer an option to know if one’s drink gets spiked what it is. Spiking drinks is done for the purposes of sexual assault, human trafficking, robbery, abuse and other horrid crimes. We are creating awareness around this worrying trend and offering an option to stay safe with Phuza Strips.

We spent around 12 months sourcing and personally testing a range of different test kits promising the detection of street drugs. From local to international strips and kits. DrugLAB was able to consistently hit the mark on our local drugs every time.

What is in the name? ‘Phuza’ is the traditional zulu term for drink, particularly drinking liquor.
